Dissertation Progress – Day 57

Tasks complete: Amended the Evaluation Method document. Connected the x2 RPi’s to Eduroam (thank you Dave)! It might be possible to have setup a dynamic DHCP Wi-Fi connection and a static Ethernet connection.

Dissertation Progress – Day 56

Tasks complete today: Finished redesigning the UI low-fidelity mock-ups for the ‘Skills’ page. Amended the design for the the ‘Overview’ page. Modified views in web application to accommodate for new designs.

Tasks complete: Attempted to connect x3 sensors together. Have not been successful. Will do so soon. I may have to order a different accelerometer – the model I have at present hasn’t played ball for others’. Dissertation Progress – Day 52

Tasks complete today: Ordered x2 temperature sensors and x1 RGB light sensor. Both were fried last time. … the accelerometer sensor I presumed was fried works after testing it this morning. Whew!

Tasks complete today: Drawn a context selection Activity diagram (UML) in MS Visio. Drawn a office skills Ontology in MS Visio. Sprint 1.1 has been implemented. Sprints 1.2 – 1.4 will hopefully be implemented soon.
